Rick dedicated his career to protecting and supporting children, a calling that reflected his compassionate nature. His work was a testament to his commitment to making the world a better place for those in need. Guided by his relationship with God, Rick prayed daily and used his spirituality as a source of strength and encouragement for himself and others.
Family was at the heart of everything Rick did. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Perez and the cherished son of George Perez. He was predeceased by his mother, Rosa Reyes, and carried her love and memory with him.
He is survived by his siblings: Sonia Haller, Linda Oneal (and her husband, Mike Oneal), JoJo Perez, Clarissa Perez, Franny Perez, Jennie Pagan, Evelyn Pagan, Elsy Menendez, Eddie Morales (and his wife, Shawn Morales), as well as numerous nieces and nephews who adored him: Nicole Rodriquez (and her husband, Jonathan Rodriguez), Anthony Pero (and his wife, Samantha Pero), Ashley Anzelino, James Anzelino, Tyler Hall, Devon Sousa, and Chanel Gonzalez; and great-nieces and great-nephews: Jonathan Rodriguez, Rhea LaRochelle, Julianna Rodriguez, and Jessenia Keiser. Rick’s stepfathers, Mike Reyes and Angel Pagan, also held special places in his life. Rick was the cherished son-in-law of Sherry and Tom Beyer. He is also survived by his siblings-in-law: Michael Beyer and his wife, Candy, along with their daughter Hannah; Kris Dieringer and her husband, Thor, along with their children, Wyatt and Ryder; Joseph Beyer and his wife, Marissa, along with their children, Gia and Leo; Katie Schneeberger and her partner, Rob Burg, along with their daughter, Lilly; and Patrick Beyer.
Rick was always there to help anyone in need. To his family, he was their rock—a source of strength and encouragement who brought them together with love and care. May Rick's legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion continue to inspire all.

Rick, you always had a smile to give and you will be terribly missed. I'm thankful you're no longer suffering, my friend. My deepest condolences to your family.
Rick, my dear friend. You were such a good guy. You loved everyone in your life and you made everyone feel special because you genuinely cared about them. You were the biggest Steelers fan I knew & boy were you the biggest sore loser when they lost. You loved your dogs & now you get to be with the ones that went before you, for eternity. You held yourself to high standards for being what a good hardworking & God-fearing man should be. You also talked the most trash of anyone I knew. As a professional trash talker, myself, I was always impressed with your level of trash talking skills. But, it was always in good fun. You were passionate about God, your family, your dogs, & your political views. You spoke your mind, and you stood your ground when you believed in something. You were genuinely a good guy. I know that you're in heaven, praising God, right now. Now, you get to be a Guardian Angel to those you loved. Watch over us all, Rick. May you rest in the peace you so deserve. God speed, my friend. ❤️ 🙏 ✝️
My heart is broken. You will live in my heart forever. I love you bro. Your my big brother what do I do. You are so loved.
You left us to early Rick. My condolences to the family.
Rest in Peace Rick.
Rest in Peace, Rick. The moment I met you, I knew you were an awesome person. Your love of people beamed through your spirit. I love how much you loved your beautiful bride, Lizzy. Thank you for all of your contributions to the people on this earth ... Thank you for your love of the USA and Elizabeth. God Bless all of your families and friends during this season of loss and sadness.
