Ada E. Knowles

Ada Elizabeth Ingram Knowles (83) transitioned on Saturday, January 31, 2026 in Clermont, Florida.

Ada was born to the late Francis and Ada Elizabeth Ingram on July 2, 1942 in Philadelpha, Pennsylvania.  

Those who knew Ada knows that she was a strong, determined, independent woman.  She loved life and was determined to live it her way. 

She loved to dance.  In fact, she actually danced on American Bandstand when it was in Philadelphia and just a few years ago, was doing the "Mummers Strut."  

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Richard Knowles; two daughters, Cherie and Lorrie; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
