The Bible reminds us to give honor to whom honor is due.  We honor Karen, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Karen's life was a testament to love and care.  The seeds of love and family planted in her from a young age blossomed throughout her life, especially in her devotion to her nieces and nephews.  Karen was always the first to offer help.  She was a quiet force who embodied the truth that "the meek will inherit the earth."

Karen found joy in reading and dedicated herself to her education, aspiring to become a counselor so she could help others.  Even now, in her passing, she brings us all together.

Karen was born on October 22, 1981 to Hopeton Forbes and the late Maureen Thomas.  She leaves to cherish her memories; four sisters and  three brothers, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

She is forever loved and is now at Peace with her mother and grandmother.  We find comfort in the truth of God's Word "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
